gittin a bit warm there marv! im peaty sure you can pinpoint it a little closer!

i pulled off on the shoulder, knowing full well the area is known for soft shoulders..... almost got stuck, but after 40' of gentle skinny pedal to get rolling all hell broke loose i love a good pair of sand rooster tails in the morning

 

i should clarify.... that B-52F aint by its lonesome out there, theres a good amount of neat planes not pictured....

No, those are at Palmdale - ICAO KPMD

They're at the south end of the airport property, just west of the FAA's "LA (air traffic control) Center".

i think there east of the LA ATC but im not a huge airplane guy....

the B-52F number 0038 is at Joe Davies Heritage Airpark at Palmdale Plant 42, just off of Ave P and 25th st east, just next door are a A-12, SR-71A, D-21 Drone, and a U-2 "D" model at BlackBird Airpark.

i wanted to snap a pic of the A-12 and SR-71A but there at the intersection and a little trickier to get... so the B-52 was a better choice.

i was on a parts run for a electrical job and remembered i was going to pass by the air parks, so i made a point to stop and get some sort of a pic to play the "where in socal am i" game

 

Found a nice little Grotto this am. Must be spring fed.


You park at a 'convenience store' Ranch for the trail head.

 

Definitely not Fresno. LOL.
