looking for in knoxville

Anyone out there south of town have a couch or a bed I can stay on for a night or 2?

Hotels are stupid expensive and put a bit hurt in my profits from shearing.

Just need to shower and place to sleep.

I can always throw a few bucks or a case or 2 of beer your way as well.

Don't know where you were looking, but you can get decent rooms in and around K'ville for under $50 a night.

I've never ever anywhere i've ever been been able to get a hotel room for under 60.

Always pisses me off.

I dont want to stay "in" town. Outside of town someplace where all my tools are safe in somebodies drive way was what I was hoping. haha.

Carrying around a few thousand dollars in gear is always nerve racking when you stay in a hotel.
It's not stuff I can just run to the store and replace either.

Either way. any hotel costs eat into any profits I hope to make.
And a long drive over there, the fuel is goign to eat me up too.

Just trying to save some money and meet new people. =)

I'd go stay with neal again, but he's to far away. haha.

Maybe I can find a campground near by. haven't looked there yet.

I've always been able to find a quality inn (or equilivant) for under $60. Not exactly the Hilton Garden Inn, but if it's just a place to crash it'll do.

You're whistlin Dixie there. People's driveways are just as likely to get "hit" as a hotel parking lot. It's a said fact, but true.

I do Alpaca shearing on the side and I know what it's like, but unless you really have big contracts on these long hauls, it's not going to be worth it in the long run unless you raise your prices, especially considering they are predicting fuel to be at the end of this month going into next (that's when I go around locally and shear around here to help off set the costs that I had to incur to shear my little herd of 3).

The Red Roof Inn in Knowxville is 29.99 for one person for one night.

there is a Days Inn East of Knoxville, in Dandridge that is 26.99 a night for one person.
