That's what's weird, if I grab the front cable with pliers and pull it towards the rear, the drivers side brare will release, that's why I wasn't sure

That's the one that runs from the connector to the equalizer.

That cable is different between the different truck bodies.
I too was looking to fix my E Brake system on my 925 150 Flareside. Today we have LMC and Bronco Graveyard that carry these and other parts. So I purchased form LMC based on their knowledge and order the complete system. I also did a complete rear brake replacement drums shoes and hardware while in there. Rear cable went in fine but the "correct" equalizer bracket for the 92 would not hook up to the intermediate cable, i had to use the style used on the 87 - 91 models. With that one change got things things together. Unfortunately I think the intermediate cable I got is too long because there is too much looseness in the system to tighten the brakes when I fully depress the parking brake cable.. I even called LMC and after 2 weeks they came back and confirmed the intermediate cable they sent is the correct length for a standard F150 Flareside standard cab.... Still I can't get the cables to tighten up enough to engage the system. I had a mechanic friend look things over and everything is as it should be. So I am still thinking the intermediate cable is the issue... unless the setup for my truck does not use an intermediate cable????

So I ask if anyone out there with a could share pictures of their working setup can provide the same pictures from their working system as above? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks
