Alright, by popular demand, and way off topic

Last time I was at the track(about 4 months ago) I matched up my previous 14.4 run, but couldn't get any quicker for some reason. It's all in the 60'.. If I could get a worth a crap short time, I'd have good runner on my hands, but I can't get it to happen the way the truck sits right now. Load range E tires doesn't help and my shocks are pretty much doing nothing back there. Broke a rear shock mounting bolt at the strip and didn't even notice it wasn't attached. LOL
60'= 2.8 seconds...
1/4= 14.4 @ 97mph. no tailgate or spare tire. Tool box still full of tools and misc junk. I could dump probably another 250 lbs by pulling the tool box and headache rack off.

Shoulda went with a full ceramic.
Sucky thing is, your gonna send it into dan to be fixed, and the kevlar is going to look brand spanking new.

Blake, look at my post.. See where it says "60'= 2.8 seconds"? Ask anyone who has drag raced before.. 2.8 seconds in the first 60' is SLOW.. A Honda Civic can pull that starting from an idle. Know why mine is that slow? One wheel peel and severe suspension hop on launch. Normal 60' times for a truck that weighs what mine does would be around 1.7ish.. So, there are 13's in it, just needs suspension work.. 97mph is pretty deep into the 13's if good 60' times could be had..

I think I might know something about drag racing with a kevlar/ceramic.. The kevlar doesn't look brand new after about 20 high RPM launches.. LOL.

know what i wanna see is you and steve race cause your two trucks seem very identical, other than his weighing a little more.

Ok so your truck can do it it just needs some tuning up and a truetrac or rear locker, thats what i figured. And if you could shave around 1 sec of your 60' time then you'll be in the 13's easy, sweet deal.
