Transfercase ford cummins question

Put a 94 ctd in my truck with a nv4500 and I need a transfercase for it, to hook that I need an adapter, for the dodge ill need the drive shafts and a really spendy tcase. I have a borg warner 1356 and need to know if it'll hold up. I really dont know what I should do.

Can't you use the TC for the NV4500 and have your driveshafts altered by a couple inches at a drivetrain shop?
