My '88 F150, with the "Big Six." She's not pretty, as the rust has really popped out this winter, but as long as it starts and shifts, I'll be driving her! The old girl makes my 280 mile trip from home to college and vice versa about six times during the school year. Doing just fine at 113K
Thanks! The pictures do it more justice than it really deserves! It's getting sadly rustier and older every day! The paint is only red when it's wet now, as it's nearly "pink" in the sun. Haha, oh well! At least it's still a Ford!
Wish my truck had the body of some of these other trucks... Im in ohio and the truck WAS in nice shape, but now the front fenders are gone and the cab is falling through where the fender meets the cab. I stepped hrough it this winter
Ill find a southern body hopefully. Then ill have to transplant my motor and trans into it and be a happy camper again!!

Still looks nice in its current condition, but in the pic above it did look even better!
(I'm a fan of the "beat up, fat tires" ultra-rough look... seems to be especially fitting for a Ford truck!)
Agreed! When I got my license my dad had be drive our old farm truck... It kept me close to home with the mpg issue of the 7.5L But i love that truck and still do! It's a must for me to drive it everytime I'm home! Here it is in all of it's glory:

Too bad there's rust on that bed... I'd have made you an offer for it! although come to think of it the two-tone paint line wouldn't match my cab.
I have a rust-free 8' bed that used to be in perfect condition and the best way to fix it would be to replace it with another bed, but good luck finding one... let alone one that's for sale. Clearly, my truck's going to stay dented for the foreseeable future.
