Pyleketerson, that is a sharp looking truck. Do you have any rubbing issues with the 35's with just a 3" body lift?
I'm running 3.55 gears with limited slip on 35" Coopers. Pulls great, MPG not so great. LOL

How much lift do you have to fit the 35's? I have 3.55 as well I am pretty sure, though not limited slip and an auto. That probably doesn't help me much.

4" suspension lift and 2" body lift for the 35's. I could probably go with larger tires but my turning radius already sucks and my power steering pump probably couldn't handle the extrea strain. If you do a lot of towing, a 4.10 gear swap might help.

I don't do any towing really. My truck doesn't really seem like it wants to move its own weight around, let alone more weight. The truck currently has a 3" body lift on it from the PO. Not my preference and I am debating with myself whether to leave it or take it off.

As far as the lift, I guess it depends on what you use the truck for. It's nice to have a lift for heavy loads such as gravel, wood, etc. & off roading. But if it's just your daily driver, you might benefit from lowering truck. How many miles on your engine? Does it just need some upgrade mods for more power or is it just tired?

No truck in my life will ever go lower, only higher. That being said, I have just never liked the body lifts. I would eliminate it and replace with a suspension lift. I still want to do a suspension lift, just don't know if it will supplement the body lift or eliminate it. The engine is just shy of 100k, but I think it spent a decent amount of time idling. I haven't had a chance to investigate the state of the motor in depth, but I do know it has low oil pressure. Whether it's just clogged up, worn out oil pump/screen, or worn out engine is yet to be determined.
