Factory -vs.- Aftermarket wheel weight ratings

Just curious what the weight capacity rating is for our factory aluminum rims if anybody knows.
I am considering aftermarket wheels and since I tow heavy with the family inside I want to know this stuff.

I am kind of partial to the MT Classics. They look as close to factor as possible with just a touch of aftermarket to make them look nice.

Also I was considering a tad larger than stock 16". Would they be rated higher.
Does anybody know what MT rates their rims at too?

OK so I found that the Classics I mentioned are rated at 3100 lbs. But still curious what the factory ones are rated at and what other wheel options I should consider using based on wheel capacities.

Ultra 164's are pretty close to stock appearance.

The Alcoa Classic 8 is rated at 3700 lbs or so at 110 PSI. Mine are about 12 years old and have a l think a 3300 lb or so rating. THe MT wheels are made by Alcoa. Or used to be anyway.

You may want to check out centerlinewheels.com. The wilderness series "scout" and "bullet" are very nice wheels similar to stock looks but with 10 holes instead of 8. They have a lot of sizes but all of them supposedly have the same 3200lb weight rating. All centerline wheels are forged and made in the USA! If you check they're overstock specials, I think you'll find they are some of the most affordable forged aluminum wheels you can find. If and when I ever upgrade wheels I will definitely be going with the 18x9 centerline scouts.
