Dash paint color?

I just installed the 650 dash (which looks awesome) and had a dash color question. My interior paint code is medium parchment and the new lower dash matches the door panel perfect but doesn't match the front dash at all. What paint is that? I also messed up the big piece that goes around the dash cluster and now it needs to be painted. Figured I would make them match. Any ideas of make and color of a paint?

Same boat I was in. I was told I had Medium Parchment so I ordered SEM 17053 Medium Parchment. That was the color of the main door panels, the glove box, passenger airbag, and the forward-most section of the dash that butts up to the windshield.

I went to the local auto paint supply shop, pulled the fuse panel cover, and carried it in. They initially said that Medium Parchment was the color but I showed them the fuse panel cover and how it didn't match. The 17053 Medium Parchment is correct for all of the light tan panels.

This was the matching color: SEM 5365 Medium Dark Parchment. They mixed it on the spot. A pint was $20.95

I used this to spray it (and you can see the interior colors of my truck here). Less than $5 at O'Reilly's.

Sprayed F-650 dash and all of the surrounding bits that needed to be the same color.

So them Medium Dark Parchment matched the fuse panel cover fine? My larger trim piece around the cluster is as dark as the smaller pieces on the door panels. So I'm thinking its going to be easier to repaint the 650 dash to match the rest of the dash and then repaint the big piece to fix my opps!!! I tried removing 3m adhesive with goof off and it turned the plastic white.

Goof Off and Goo Gone are two different things.
Goof Off is for paint removal and such when you make a mistake.
Goo Gone is great for removing adhesives.

Yeah, the Medium Dark Parchment matched the fuse panel cover. Remember, I carried it in and we color-matched to the panel - not what the 2002 Ford interior colors state. Med. Dark Parchment is the color you need - if your interior is like mine.

Medium Parchment is the light color on the door panels, sill plates, kick panels, etc...

Did you have to thin the paint any prior to using the Preval Sprayer?

No. Just make sure you properly cleans things and you're good to go.

Color?

I read everything you described but I'm still confused, what is the color around your radio, the darker brown. My dash is one solid color just like that and it's doing that chipping thing fords are known for. My door tag say MH comes back to med parchment. Which is the seats door panels everything but dash and I can't find the dash color??

I took the window control bezel off the passenger door and left it at the paint shoot. They matched for me. As to a color I don't know. It watch custom matched until it was right.

Hello guys, Jim here up in Canada. I am thinking about replacing the dashboard cupholder in my 2002 f150 with the earlier model combination cupholder/ashtray but there dosn't seem to be any on ebay with the medium parchment color. (thanks to N2GN2 for showing the two colors). My deeper thanks to JIA for the color explanation on this thread. I don't have access to all the auto supply shops as you do so I was wondering since I would'nt need more than a thimbleful of paint to do the unit would you be willing to give up a little of that paint. I would pay the shipping. Jim

Now that's interesting... supposedly the lighter color in our tan 99's in "med prairie tan" and the darker is "dark prairie tan". I know that Clay uses "med prairie tan" for the gauge pods, which is the lighter color, and it matches great in my truck.
