Engine Rebuild

Engine Rebuild
Just had my engine rebuilt and installed a Clifford dual carb manifold, headers, x-pipe, head work to Clifford specs, and a Clifford 264 cam with their springs, lifters, pushrods etc. Called Clifford about recommended break in procedure and they said Valvoline 5W-30 or 10W-30, conventional oil, no Zinc (additives), or synthetics. Just seems backwards from every cam manufacturers (and machine shop) break in procedures. Does anyone have any experience with Clifford cams or any advise?
Appreciate any input!

Go down to the six cylinder forum and connect with F-250 restorer. He has first hand experience with Clifford and has been there and spoken with Larry.
