Floor Jack

Can anyone recommend a good floor jack not made in CHINA??? I had a 2 ton craftsman for 25 years (Cannot get parts) was a great jack. Purchased a 3 ton craftsman 2 years ago and it all ready quit a piece of garbage made in China. I was looking at this one 3-ton for 470.00 a little pricey. They also have a 2 ton for 330.00 Made in USA Thanks
Hein-Werner Service Jack – 3-Ton, Model# HW93652 | Floor Jacks | Northern Tool + Equipment

I have a Hein-Werner I bought in the 70's and a newer 3 Ton HW93652 for the diesel. Not cheap but with the diesel and extra weight, the 3 Ton comes in handy.

The Hein-Werner has great reviews and made in the USA..Your right not cheap but you can get parts for them if needed. Northern tool seems to have the best price with no shipping if picked up at one of there locations which I have one about 45 minutes from here..Damn I have a 20.00 coupon for in stock items and of course they are only special order I called them today..So most likely I will order one online and P/U at store..I'm sure I will find something else to use coupon on when I go there to P/U jack...LOL

And doesn't apply to torque wrenches, except the beam style.

To save on broken jacks I just bought a 2 post asymetrical lift. A lot easier walking under the truck than crawling. LOL

The details of my problem with them was my ratcheting torque wrench quite ratcheting (not sure why). Anyway when I took it back into my local Sears they were quick to ask when I purchased it. Told 'em 2 years ago (at the time); that was when they pointed out torque wrenches only have a 12 month warranty. Guess if you go to a different Sears (especially in another town) you just bought the wrench 8 months ago.
