This is what is irking me about some people on this forum. My position is if you don't have anything good to say, then it's best to keep to yourself. Meaning of a message gets lost in translation sometimes. Rant off

Nice truck OP

I agree with atccracing. And if the OP doesnt want to hear it, they probably shouldnt post.

If you go to a car show, not everybody likes what you have. People criticize. If everybody liked everything, we would have a pretty lame world. As for openly stating it.. Well thats why the forum is here.

Just to clarify, my post wasn't meant to be directed at atccracing or anyone in particular.

I don't know anything about car shows, but I'll venture to guess that owners enter it to have their vehicles judged by unbiased and competent judges, based on the class they have entered. So they go in knowing that there will be both criticism as well as praises from the judges; hopefully more of the latter. And likely gets comments both good and bad from spectators, I'm guessing.

So the OP's truck stance may not appeal to everyone, and I'm good with that. Or maybe his choice of engine and engine mods don't appeal to others too. Well okay then. Heck, I'm not even sure if the OP wanted any comments. But I guess if one has the urge to criticize, you can do it here without the worry of repercussion. I'll have to accept that as part of the way it goes around here I guess. So I'll yield to your opinion re. this subject.

nintey4f150, your drivetrain mods sound awesome too. Hopefully you can get the tuning bugs ironed out of the PCM. Would like to hear how it eventually turns out. And more importantly, how well it runs down the track.

Although I have no use for that type of truck I think is looks kinda cool, and he certainly cares about it to invest that much work and money... although I'd be running some 275-60-15s on some T2 thrusts.. Either way I bet its gonna be fast...

While were bashing people.... I'd like to say that dudes driving lifted trucks on 36" MTs around in the city look pretty stupid too.. ......just sayin

Hey OP when you get her tuned lets see a video of it runnin...

I don't like lowrider trucks, as even if they're 2WD their utility gets compromised, and working under them means jacking them up everytime, but i do like the looks of this one. I say: it's your truck, do whatever you like to it, but i'll still have an opinion.

The truck has been 14.0 with a 1.90 60ft.. A better tune n it should go 13s ... I say if it's 2wd then drop it if it's 4wd lift it. It's still a truck n I still use it as so.. Big deal if I have to use a jack to work on it.

I like it, some of these older trucks look good lifted, others look good lowered. I think this one looks good lowered. Seen a lowered lighting earlier today, o man it was sharp!
