NorCal Tech Day

Alright guys, it's that time again. We are planning a tech day in Morgan Hill at Andy's (Fat Diesel) place. Andy has plenty of room to work on whatever you need to get done. On the agenda so far is installing my injectors, valve springs, head studs, and ceramic coated IH up-pipes. Andy is planning some mad scientist gauge install.

Date: April 16th 2011

Time: Probably pretty early 8am or 9am till we are done.

Place: Andy's house. He will pop in the thread to provide details.

Bring your projects or just yourself and help out. Clay from Riffraff Diesel is coming down so plan your project and order your parts in advance and save shipping by having Clay bring it down.

Look forward to seeing you there. Post up

Sounds great Peter. A month from tommorow. It's marked on my calendar.

Now to head over to Clay's site to see what I want him to bring.

Same weekend as America's Family Pet Expo at Orange County fairgrounds. Our rescue group has a booth there each year, and I gotta' pull the trailer full of stuff there and back, and help set up and tear down.

Otherwise it would have been ideal. But I have nothing I want to get done, and I would have spent the day the same way Robin will.

Hopefully, next one.....

Pop

aawlberninf350 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
April 16 looks good! It'll be great to wrench around and meet some of you good people.

If more projects are needed, I have some that have been stacking up for my truck; 6.0 IC, 6.0 tranny cooler, 08 diff cover. I have all the necessary small parts for these installs except diff fluid, looking for a recommendation there. I'll bring my AutoEnginuity, something to bbq, perhaps a fizzy beverage.

Cool. I need to install the intercooler couplers that I bought from RiffRaff. Maybe Clay can bring an extra CCV kit so I can buy and install that also.

C'mon down David. Diff fluid is 75w-140 synthetic. Don't buy something with "LS" in the name itself. Get some "friction modifier." It's stinky and in a small bottle. Also you need longer bolts than stock for that cover.
