Good service from Continental

Even though I only have 3 OEM tires left to claim, Continental Tires is sending, by air courier, 5 replacement tires to Laos at no charge to me.
I am a happy customer-----Go Continental !

senix,

Thanks for the link, but I must be blind, unless I missed something there was not anything mentioned about the VIN # on the trucks that had the tires. Does it only go by the DOT serial #s. The reason I ask is because the reimbursement forms has a blank for the Truck VIN#.

Thanks

Yeah, that is what I would do, put your vin down. As I recall the form that I had to submit I had to write down my vin. They verifiy the vin with ford..that is was built during that time and came with the type of tires under recall.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll just put my VIN in the form and submit it. My tires do have the recalled DOT #'s, but I was just trying to double check it with the VIN.

So since I had already replaced mine with real tires they are giving me 250 a tire plus tax and the disposal fee.

Gotta stay on them!

This was my response from CONTINENTAL.

so your vin must not have matched fords database of trucks. Too bad.
