clean truck but worth that much in my opinion. Maybe if it was a crew cab with a fully modernized drivetrain and interior so you could drive it around llike a brand new truck.

That truck has been for sale at the Auto Ranch for a couple years now. Not that it probably isn't worth it, but it's not going anywhere at that price.

I'm not saying folks should give their rigs away, but that's becoming a bigger problem with this hobby these days...folks watch the Barrett Jackson and think they're rig with slathered on bondo a new paint, is worth the same. Or they do have a quality rig, and they want to get out of it what they put in. On my restores, I've always expected to to get 1/3 of what I put in to it, any more and it's gravy. But being a business man an in the finance world by trade, I realize selling at a loss like that is stupid, so I decide to keep most my restores.

As 704 pretty much said already, if you were to restore a '76 to that condition, you would have that much or more invested easily in material and manhours. Looks like a really nice truck to me. I hesitate to say its worth the asking price because its really only worth what someone is willing to pay for it but you will spend more than that to restore one to that condition, if its as nice as the pix depict. The right buyer will come along eventually.

Wow that is nice. I dont really see a problem with him asking that. He might not get it but there's nothing wrong with trying. Every once in awhile I'll put something of mine up for sale even though I dont want to sell it. Its just priced high and if someone wants it then off it goes.
