I have an oppertunity to get an oem 6 disk changer out of an 07 to put into my 04 screw. My question is is it a direct fit or do i have to buy something extra to make it fit, I was told the antena plug is different on the 06+...

If its ONLY the antenna plug consider yourself lucky.About the only way youre gonna be able to find out,is pull the existing one,and hold up the new one to see if the connectors are the same.If they are,you can get an antenna cable adapter at almost any A/P store,or a place like Best Buy.

I think that the 6 disc has the 3 plug-ins besides the antenna. The subwoofer out and two types of speaker/power outs. The speaker/power cable on your truck should fit one of these. If it doesn't you can buy the speaker/power cable and just splice it into the existing cable.

This is what the 2007 looks like: Ford Expedition AM-FM 6 disc indash changer OEM in 2007 - eBay (item 250788162737 end time Mar-20-11 19:43:52 PDT)

And here is the 2005: 05-06 Ford F150 Radio 6 Disc Cd MP3 Player 5L3T *CP - eBay (item 200584437620 end time Apr-06-11 19:51:31 PDT)

Looks like it's the same except for the antenna.

Obviously you're going to be able to use the usual antenna adapter, you're gonna need a reverse adapter like this.
