Exhaust question

Helpin a friend install a 4'' turbo back on his 96. He broke the bolt on the T clamp for the downpipe that attatches to the turbo, anyone know where to get that clamp?
He's also missing a few of the rubber mounts for the exhaust hangers and the instructions say to re use those, can't seem to find those anywhere either.
Thanks for the help.

This thread might help some

Directs to this, may want to check dimensions though, as I'm not sure if it will work for our dp/turbo...

X2 on that, to install a 4" you need A LOT of work in the firewall, unless you have a lift. Later I could attach some pics of somebodies work to install a big DP if you want to.

I'm guessing this kit is a 3.5" down pipe to 4", 99.9% of the kits sold for these trucks are that way. If it's really a 4" down pipe, I hope you have a welder handy.

Looks like that e-bay company has various sizes.. can someone confirm what size the clamp needs to be?

Thats its a good question, because the "normal" DP, O.D. is 3" IIRC. maybe someone else will chime in later.

Sorry I should have been a little more clear, its just the 3'' downpipe to 4'' exhaust so the downpipe won't be too bad. It used to have stacks so its missing the rubber exhaust mounts, still tryin to get a hold of some.

I have an old gasser truck I am parting out. I'll look this afternoon to see if I have what you need.
Which hangers do you need?

The rubber biscuits are usually labelled ISOLATORS (or insulators by some) - try WALKER # 35460. Readily available thru the aftermarket houses.

No kidding! That just convinced me to only go as big as 3" when I do my DP job.

You can get a 3-4 inch downpipe, that is what I have. It fits just fine. But yeah, definitely stay at 3 inch up top!

Those pics are from a friend of mine (strokersace). The motor in his truck has a complete SD conversion- front cover/accessories, turbo, etc. He decided to nut up and try to make a 4" SD down pipe fit since he had it apart anyway, and well he's just the kind of guy who can't leave well enough alone
