the 60 dually fronts actually mount the selector hub and i think the outer bearing and locknut asembly.. and yes i'm buiding a dually and dont want that sill 3/4 ton front dually rear look....as for adapters i've only found one of the right size....95-99 dodge 4X4 fronts...the chevy and gm are too short and the new fords are metric...p.s. my truck is a 4X4..

You don't really HAVE to use the chevy wheels do you? It's the lugs that locate the wheel anyway. Or am I wrong?

I dont see why you couldn't bolt on D60 spindles. All the brake parts including the dust shields and support bracket for the calipers are interchangeable so you would be able to bolts a spindle on. Only issue I see is that the outer axle shaft may not be long enough in your 44 to fit the whole way to the end of the D60 hub which may be a little longer and I know as a fact that even though they are the same diameter the D60 outer shafts have a larger spline count.
So as a whole it is not going to work.

okay same deal on the chevy adapters, u find um i buy um and kick to you...so if the dana 60 spindle fits couldn't i use dana 55 ttb parts and the longer stubshaft with maybe some bast*** joints to fit the shaft along with the dana 55 hubs..then add the danas 60 dually hubs and call it good...

On a side note how much would those Chevy adapters be worth?
