7.3 Leaking at Fuel Filter

Replaced filter and gaskets. Beveled side up. Still weeps. Hard to tell if it is leaking through the water drain pipe or around the pipe. Any thoughts?

Excellent, Thanks!

This is a great resource. Seems like a simple fix. I blew out the teflon O-ring on the back of the HPFP while towing my1954 Dodge Power Wagon in 90 degree Illinois heat of summer. Took four gallons of oil (including the engine oil and gear oil drained out of my Power Wagon), two rubber O-rings and some Form-A-Gasket to get me to Iowa where I got the last teflon O-ring the Ford dealer had in stock.

Ford probably would have them instock but usually if you can wait a few days its cheaper to order from Bob(Diesel orings) or Clay(Riffraff Diesel)
