nope didn't drain nothing. It wasn't past the breather lines, and if it was, it wasn't long enough to get water in them. It was just to my center caps, and all of a sudden it dipped down real deep. I had no choice but to plunge through it. Backwards there was a chance water would of went up my pipes, and ended up in the motor that way. So I opted to put her in 4x4 because the water was moving at that point, and take it slow and easy to the dry side, and turn around, and come back through. Like I said had no idea I was getting into it. That was about 800 miles ago. Truck is still doing great. Right now I am just trying to get my phasers, lash adjusters, and chain tensioners fixed.. the phasers are shot for sure, diesel tick is about to drive me nuts.
Here is one haulin a wrecked early 50's international, frame cut off behind the cab. and a blown 454 and transmisson out of a 73 chevy dump truck, about 4500lbs. http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1310435618
Hauling my 600 Ford tractor. It has fluid in the tires and a brush hog or blade attached at all times. Pretty good load for a 150 but she handles it just fine.
My first attempt at posting a pic so hopefully it works! And yes I'm reviving an old thread! I thought we needed it back.
I towed a F100 from Spooner, WI all the way down to Elkhorn, WI. Was a LONG drive but the truck handled it without a single issue! I more regularly haul motorcycles, garden tractors, scrap, firewood, etc.
