I swithed to 20's and bought new tires and had that, I went back and had them rebalanced. They have to break the bead down and rotate tire on rim and rebalance.
Normally if there's excessive wheel wieghts I would say a tire needs rebalanced.

I dont know..lol Im not all into my truck, but my friend has a crew cab 2006 f250, and thats where i got the wheels. he has a 10" lift with 44" tires, and some other stuff, wheel with these tires he was getting the death wobble, and the store that did all his lift work told him the way to get rid of it was this bar, and it was like $1200. well at the time my truck was all good so i didnt ask to much about it...

The highlighted words above answer your question.

you cant put 06 wheels on an 03 SD. yes the bolt pattern is the same, but the backspacing / offset is completley different. In 05 Ford started using a different offset.

You are correct as long as we're talking factory wheels. The 05 wheels would sit in too far on the leaf sprung trucks. If his friends truck had 10" of lift chances are he was running a very low offset wheel anyway. It looks, from the side, to fit ok maybe even stick out a little.

I have been keeping up with thiss thread because I have been fighting a vibration/wobble for over a year now. 3 different sets of wheels/tires and before and after the lift. Also new unit bearings up front and brakes all around. Not to mention countless wheel/tire balances. Also, new shocks. It's really bad @ 70-75 mph and I want it to stop

Do you feel it in the steering wheel, the seat, the floor? Does it change getting on and off the throttle?

The seat and floor mostly. But at times it's bad enough that everything shakes. Getting out of the throttle can make it worse sometimes. Brakes don't affect it at all. It seems to be coming from the rear end and I have some cupping of the rear tires.

I can take a front and rear pic if that helps. Actually went my friend had these wheels he had a 6" lift, then he went to 10"... Then he sold these wheels to another friend with a 08 no lift and he had no problems. Then I got them.

If they are flush with the fenders then you should be a-ok on the offset.

Those look to be an old Helo wheel. If it is then it's long since discontinued, too bad I really liked that wheel.

Have you made any headway on figuring out what the problem is?
