Where is the best place to search dealer inventory over a wide spread area? When I am ready to buy my new truck I want to search a 500 mile radius for the best deal and most importantly the best match to what I want. I will not have time to order it the way I want, but will have to go get it off the lot.

Cars . com?
Auto trader?
Ford . com

My vote goes to cars.com. I like their layout better than autotrader and they have better photos in the ads. You can easily narrow down your selections by color, year, and several other categories. You can also narrow the vehicles down to how recently they've been listed.

The only bad thing about Ford's site is that they often have no photos of the trucks. I like to look at them to see if they are really what I'd want.....not always easy to do that looking at only the window sticker.

 

Thanks. I have to sell my house first but as soon as that check clears I will be off, don't mind driving a distance for the right deal. Don't really care about the dealer "relationship" either cause the wife and I will be traveling the country in it.
