C6 trans shop

Can anybody recommend one in the Owasso area? Anybody have any work done by Eddies Transmissions? I'm thinking after 42 years it's time to have the one in my Thunderbird gone through. After being parked for the winter, I had a puddle under it maybe 3/4 of a quart. Sort of thinking it may be the rear seal going bad plus it needs to be flushed.

Hiya Mike,

I don't have any local recommendations. When i needed my c6 replaced in my 78 f150, i was surpised how high local rebuild prices were, for just a stock rebuild. I called all around Owasso and Tulsa. I went with a TCI Streetfighter trans from Summit Racing. It was less than the cost of a stock rebuild and gave me a trans with a shift kit already installed. It only took a weekend for me and a fellow FTE buddy to R&R.

Thanks for the input Ron. I really think I just need the rear seal replaced on it. After topping it off and driving it around Friday and Saturday, it hasn't left any drops under it.
