Sat March 5th, 2011 Anniversary GTG (Details Thread)
- Sat March 5th, 2011 FTE - March GTG
Time: 12:00 PM -
Location: My House, McRae
Theme: Weiner Roast
Directions:
Satellite View:
On the Menu: Anything you can roast on a stick!
All Arkansas Chapter members and family, and friends that are interested in Ford Trucks are invited and welcomed to attend.
We have a family-friendly atmosphere at our GTG's, so as usual please no beer / adult beverages, etc.
I'll pick up some hot dogs and buns, and make up a fixins plate with onion / pickles / ect. If someone wants to bring ketchup, mustard, relish, potato salad, coleslaw, sauerkraut, or anything else,
just post up and let us know what you're bringing..
I've got gobs of Mt. Dew in the fridge and anyone is welcome to it, but if you have your own soda or tea that you prefer, we'll have a cooler on-hand..
We'll be here all morning, so anytime you want to roll-in is fine, bring your fishing poles if you want.. and you'll want to bring enough lawn chairs for your group.
Anybody have a folding table they can bring? If not we can always backup a tailgate.. shouldn't be any shortage of those

That's after the next bid period...so like Jake, I have no clue this far out. I'm going to talk to the boss and see what's on her mind. Scary I know...Isn't during rainy season? We could always take the northern route...isn't the Arctic frozen around February/March? I figure if a couple of Canadian Hams can become world famous on the History channel...a couple of nuts from Arkansas should be alright.

This is all speculation...if diesel goes to $4 I'm out of it without some kind of sponsorship.

Yeah, I remember those days, that was when Big Red went to the boneyard and I downsized to the F250. I think the highest I paid here was $4.89, told my customers when it hit $5.00 that was it, I was quitting. If it keeps going up like lately, it won't be long before it is up there again I paid $3.35 yesterday

great, I didn't realize that after the poll was closed that you couldn't see who voted for what. Now I don't know who voted for one or both..
by the replies though, it looks like March 5th is the date of choice, sound good?
Anybody have any ideas for a location?
Preferably someplace indoors or at least sheltered from the wind, anything's open at the moment.
Anybody want to volunteer the use of their house / shop?
