Im researching that scan gauge 2 as we speak! Is there a general baseline or reference for the injector PW and pressure for the Hpop to put out on our trucks? along with any other important readings to watch? I guess ill have a baseline when i hook it up and start driving.

Im not sure if the 160cc injectors will allow me to get 20mpg but i sure as hell hope so! Thats twice what i figured when making the budget for the drive home.

RRranch have you looked over that vehicle add in the first post? It might give you a better estimate as to what i will be making for mpg? It moves it self out of the way nicely is all i know!! haha

another question.. scangauge II

the "x-gauge" features? Do these certain functions already come with it, just depending what vehicle its plugged into? saw the list of gauges it will display for the 7.3L, looks like it could be a lot of valuable info to have.

The x gauge features are a list of vehicle specific datastream parameters that you have to program into it. It only has a generic datastream set loaded onto it and most of it is worthless. It won't read any air temp or water temps correctly. Nor te Map or BAP sensors. It does do EOT though. Go figure. They give all the x gauge codes for them on the website under the 7.3 diesel section. I'm tnkering right now with making the MPG display work right. It's missing a sensor somewhere and I'm waiting on a reply from the company to find out which one it needs to display MPG. I think it needs one to calculate fuel rate. That shouldn't be too hard to add on. The OBS PCM is weird compared to a gasser but not a lost cause.
