Turbo ID
I have turbo that was on my 89 7.3. PO said it was off a powerstroke but it has no waste gate. Both housings say Garret. Cold side has label says allied signal
PN 1820612C91
Hot side has 6B28 (best I can tell) cast in.
Picture in my gallery, but I can't attach here.
Is it really a PS turbo?

Thanks, I thought the P Strokes had waste gates also, that is why I had a problem with believing that is what it was. I will let you know how it performs when I get 6.9 together and adjusted right. I was getting about 8 PSI, and max 900 degree EGT (post turbo) before replacing IP pump and injectors with turbo rated units. After new parts hit 12 PSI and 1200 degree, towing small tractor up longhill. Melted piston. Don't want to do that again.
