I don't think that the factory type fog lights suck, but I do think that the good aftermarket ones are better. I also think that the factory ones are better than any of the cheapo ones at most of the stores.

I like that the factory ones and the good aftermarket ones, generally don't produce excessive glare to oncomming drivers. Alot of the cheopo ones glare.

I don't know what brand they are the SoutherBlues has, but I can't stand any of them that have tinted lenses. Those KCs he has probobly work quite well.

For those that don't know, here is what I did with a pair of Hella 550 lights.

Thanks texas guy, i love your lights . They fit the truck perfect. And your right on the after market lights. I cant stand them either. only other brand lights i love besides hella is marchal . I have marchal's on my stang, and my turbo coupe has hellas on it from the factory.

You don't often see Marchal lights anymore. I think the last year they were factory on the Mustang was 86 right? Do they still makes lights?

I didn't know that the turbo coupe has factory hellas.

Another one that I hear good things about is Cibie.

I like the older 80s-90s Bosch fog lights as well.

I have had the KC fog lights before and they are pretty good. The KC off road lights are cool, but can't use them on the street really.

Yes, the turbo coupe has factory hellas. Just before winter i changed a blown bulb and to my suprise the glass lense has hella stamped into it.

Im not sure about marchal though, and your correct 86 was the last year for them on the stang, the t bird could have the marchals too i think for 86, and the Lincoln mark VII all the way up to 92. I got the factory 86 mustang marchal's on my 1990 LX

The KC's have always been cool, not gonna lie

I know but the lights did not cost me anything. Got them as a xmas gift and they do put out decent light. I use them almost every day on the way to work, will run them until one of them burns out and then replace them.Thinking of going with some of the new Led Lights

I used my battery for power. I'd take pics but I sold my green truck. I'm going to be doing the f250 fogs again soon on my new 250

I wired them in a parallel series circuit. I grounded the lights in the cab I believe so I only had to run 1 wire into the cab instead of 2

I did the same thing with mine, I was looking the Hella 550's. How bright are they? I've been thinking about switching from my cheapo's to those
