How many quarts oil for a 5.0 EFI
I know this is a simple questionn to answer=just look on the dipstick.Problem is the original factory dipstick is NOT with the motor.I don't know how the person who owned the bronco before me managed to loose the dipstick.Anyway after changeing the oil and filter and putting 5 quarts in it the makeshift dipstick (long .40 gauge wire with notches to mark the full and 1 quart low)indicated it was still a quart low.I have never heard of a deep sump 5.0.I had a 351 deep sump on a 75 F250 4x4 but never heard of the need for a deep sump in a full size bronco with a 5.0.Does anyone out there have any knowledge of this.It is the original factory motor and there have been no modifications to it.I do read 45 psi on the oil gauge with 6 quatrs in it versus 20 psi with 5 quarts. Thanks much,Ron
