Exhaust Parts

I have a 76 F-350 with the 460ci engine and need to get some replacement exhaust parts as they have rusted through. Anyone know of a good place to get stock replacements? I have tried all sorts of local auto parts stores and even a couple of Ford dealers to no avail.

Eric

Thanks in advance for any help.

What is it you need? You could try Green Sales, they carry a ton of new old stock ford parts. You'll need the part numbers though. Depending on what you need, you could also check Dennis Carpenter. They're about as close to original as you'll get.

I need the pipe from the manifold on the passenger side to the muffler. I have no idea what the part number would be. Any idea where I can find the part number. I tried a couple of dealers and they had no idea.

I used to do exhaust. This is nothing some oldschool (as in 50 year old man) dude couldn't fab up in 45 minutes. Don't hate, that was how I learned what I know know.

He could take a straight stick and eyeball bend it to fit anywhere. We put duals on everything imaginable. This should be something you could get done at almost any little shop with a bender. Look for private muffler shops, not chains. They usually do the best work.

If you have dual exhausts, the pipe you need was custom fabbed by a muffler shop. Dual exhausts were never offered as an option on this truck.
If your talking about the two inlet pipes that go into a single muffler this is factory. However, according to the Ford parts manual it was only available as an assembly, both inlet pipes and the muffler.

I was unable to find any dealers or obsolete parts suppliers with either in stock. But like either I or Melbatoast said, for a good muffler shop this is what they do every day.
Fabbing one from straight stock is no big deal.
