Unhappy 93 F-250 Headers hellp

Ok. So ive got my 93 f250 with the 5.8 351w. I bought long tube hooker headers for it, made a custom Y-pipe for it and had it just go to flowmaster muffler. Low and behold i failed emissions because i got rid of EGR(didnt get egr removal kit or whatever, just cut it and unplugged it) and didnt put the cat back in. so the shop that did my emissions offered to redo it. and since they werent an aftermarket shop, they took out my headers and muffler without telling me and put stock manifolds in and stock muffler and bought me a new cat(A-HOLES!!!) 4K later! I want my headers back on. Do they make aftermarket short tube headers(so i dont need to make a new Y-pipe) for my truck that has the EGR port on it? I searched, and i suck at searching, so if they do, and someone finds it, a link would be much appreciated.

Whoa, that sucks, maybe next time you will go over exactly what work will be performed. By any chance do your heads have a place in the back that could do the same thing for the EGR porting?

You can still have your egr hooked as it was before. what i did i cut my cats an put new exhaust on like you did but i did it myself. i Just cut the tube or pipe off my cat Drilled out a whole in the middle of my y pipe before i put welded that little 1 inch(or what ever size it is) pipe into the whole as it woulda bein on my cat. then hooked my rubber hose back up to it as if it was stock. that should work

yea but the way my EGR works is the cat has two hoses coming out of it going idk where, then the front end of the passenger side manifold has a pipe going to the EGR. my question is, do they make short tube performance headers with watever i need to hook up the EGR? ive gotta check but i may be able to just weld a nut on..

Here is a link for short tube headers: Clicky
The summit ones are on sale and are good if you do not live in a place that uses salt on the roads. I have the JBA shorties, stainless steel for Ohio's great weather. Both have EGR bungs

If you would like lond tube (full length) headers, that is an option for you too but you may have to call summit and ask. I believe the pacesetter LT headers have the EGR bung in them but it doesnt show it in the picture.

They do. But you can order them with or without a EGR bung. I looked up the part number I needed on the pacesetter website and found it on summit. They fit nice on my f-250.

I myself would go with the LT headers. More low-end with these and they can be emissions friendly with the right hi-flow cats
