Drive line vibration

Bought the truck with these mounts already installed. Do they look like there in correct or should there be more rubber showing between the metal caps?

It don't look right. Is there a rubber puck in between the metal cup and the mount bracket? I had something similar on my truck that I will be replacing. I think the rubber puck goes inside the metal cup above the mount bracket.

yes there is rubber between the metal, But i thought maybe it should be thicker. There was so much wrong with the truck i thought maybe they could have put the wrong rubber in between

yeah those metal cups shouldn't be sitting on the bracket. don't know if those rubber pucks are installed wrong or what but if you got room you need to lift them a bit..thats kinda like a solid mount the way it is in the pic.

That may be a good idea, swap the pucks. They had the trans bolted right to the crossmember. I had to drop that and add a mount there. Guess they just wanted to get rid of the truck.
