I have been starting to look for motor mounts to put the motor in the 54 I am looking at running a 460/c6 combo. One of them that i found said that it could not be used with lincoln motors. Any idea why. My motor came out of a 76 lincoln town car.

 

IIRC, there was some differences in mount bosses on some of the really early blocks. But by '76, I'd have thought they would've been more standardized. It sounds like a good question for your mount manufacturer. Give them a call and let us know what they said.

 

Im using the speedway motors frame passthroughs on my 60 build with a lincoln 5.0 would just have to make an adaper to go from the block to the mount plus there only 20bucks for the pair
