wiper cowl issues

07 150 4x4 supercrew. the damn wiper cowl keeps poping up in the center, then it seems I get ice under the edge and against the window, and she sits and growels at me at hwy speeds. like someone is rolling a golfball around and around and around...etc. any solutions or better aftermarket parts??????

tired of small issues and cheap parts

Yeah, the new one you get won't stay put either.....the screw is the only real fix.

Mine is cracked... and the clip is gone! It is still in one piece so I might try to shore it up from underneath. Then I will use Stainless steel screws to hold it in place

i dont believe i would call it a "mod", it is just zipties.but when the sun comes back out i will snap some photos and post. it is real simple and you shouldnt them. from the pass. side i drilled the 2 holes towards the driver side 1/16th or 1/8th" bit.then i put the ziptie through the grids on the drivers side cowl, closest possible spots to the new holes i drilled, then snaked them through the drilled holes and tightened them down and cut off the loose ends. super easy to do. and doesnt add a screw to the front end to possibly rust later. pics will be up soon

That 30sec included opening a beverage and turning on the radio.

My truck has the same issue. Also, the rubber ends on both pieces is rotted. I wonder if I get another one from Ford if it will be the newer design.
