E4OD Issue

I have a 94 F250 5.8l with a E4OD transmission. I changed the MPLS after it started the hard shift/slip problem. Now it shifts just fine. Lately, it started an intermittent problem: in wet weather it acts like the transmission wont behave. It felt like a wet ignition issue with the bog down, but after slipping it into Neutral and revving the engine, it didn't exhibit any ignition issue. It revved right up. Checked for spark leaks and all is fine. After putting it back in Drive it started to bog again, as if a potato was stuffed in the exhaust pipe. Mashing the gas to the floor would take care of it eventually after all the hesitation. It would cause the tranny to down shift and get it moving again under power. I noticed this happens mostly under part-throttle. This only happens in wet weather. Must be electrical, right?
