hi iwas wonderin if you guys can give me some help. Should i Keep the unibody or go for the highboy ?

 

I'd stay w/ the '62 Unibody if it's in any kind of good shape. There aren't too many of them around, and you can do alot w/ them. I have a '62, not a unibody, and I'm now installing a 455 Olds and TH 400 in it. I've had it f/ about 24 years and I like that not too many people have one this year, and the unibody is much more unique. You'll be glad that you kept the Unibody. Good Luck.

 

I'd second that. They are pretty rare, and now seem to be picking up a bit of steam on being more collectable.

I wouldn't over horse or do any real work in it. As to keep the body from flexing which from what I have found out seems to of been its downfall.

 

Keep the uni, I think they are the coolest truck ever made!

 

I actually had an opportunity to compare the two last week side by side and i would have to say the uni has a better look in my opinion although high boys always catch my eye

 

Yes keep the Uni. They draw a lot of attention at shows and gas stations for sure.
