2000 F250 front mount hitch

Hey guys,
I've spent the last few hours reading threads on front mounted hitches for my truck. I have a 2000 (build date 5/00) F250 SD 4x. I do not have the blocker beam. I do have and want to retain my factory driving lights.

Apparently, the only thing out there is this. But, it wipes out my lights and the receiver is too high. I want something where the receiver is below the bumper.

I've heard of Bodiak and Leed engineering but both of those companies don't seem to make a front hitch anymore. Any help?

The style that bolts to the bumper mount, kills the fogs and sets the receiver inside the bumper is the only one I've ever seen. It may need to be custom built or look at companies like ranchhand for custom front ends with integrated receivers

what are you using it for ?

I built mine for inserting items like a step, hitch for maneuvering trailers, a slide in ladder rack extension for really long items like garage door panels, i wouldn't use mine to say tow the truck behind a vehicle but that wasn't my intention

you can see my step in my avatar?

I just want to insert a cargo carrier that I already own for a little extra storage room. The hitch wouldn't see much use or weight. But, my biggest problem is the year of my truck does not have the blocker beam. Most hitches require that to bolt up to. I think I'm stuck with the one that mounts beside the tow hooks, inside the bumper, which I don't like because of the height of it and the fact that it takes out the driving lights.

I guess I'm stuck unless I can find a shop that will weld something together for me custom. Anyone know of such a shop in the Santa Cruz, CA area?

TIA

i have the one you posted....use it for a dirt bike carrier and bicycle rack. i think if your crafty you can get the orig lights back in place they will just out a little bit more than stock. just weld them to the hitch.

I have one on my f150....It mounts under the bumper......You remove the tow hooks.....put it up.....put the tow hooks back on and bolt it on......Doesnt mess with the driving lights at all....Took about 10 minutes to put on.....
