Motorcraft VC-8 (FW-16) SCA question
So I changed the coolant in my truck today using about 28 ounces of VC-8 Motorcraft coolant additive. I used a whole bottle and 3/4 of another bottle. While the packaging of both bottles was the same, one bottle had a gold liquid in it while the other had a blue liquid in it. Which color should the SCAs be? Or have others seen them both ways as well? If it means anything both bottles were still sealed with the aluminum/plastic under the cap.
Thanks

very interesting.
looking here,it states;
"Now dyed yellow to eliminate engine coolant color change when mixing."
Diesel Cooling System Additive
so my guess is,you got an older bottle and a newer bottle with the yellow dye.
doesn't "appear" you have anything to worry about.
id call your local ford dealership to confirm my theory.
