73 - 77 highboy stock height.

Hey all. I need to know what the stock height of a highboy is from a measurable point. Like the bottom of the frame at a certain point front and rear. I also need the height of the stock tires in inches. What I am trying to do is see if I can put a 2 in lift on my 74 highboy and still clear my garage with the 35's I have on it. I clear now but who knows how much the stock suspension has sagged. Thanks in advance.

With 315/75/16 (34.5") mine sits at 26 1/2" to the frame(not the front crossmember which hangs lower) where the front leaves attach and 29 3/4" at the rear most part of the frame. Maybe measuring the top of the cab would be a better measurement. Just about 79" to the roof.

Ok. I'm assuming that you two have replaced or rebuilt your suspension and have a correct ride height. If so that's a good reference for me. Thank you.

If you guys are running 35's like me and are sitting at 79 inches. I have 84 inches to the header in my garage. I should be fine with a 2 inch lift. I could squeeze another 1/2 inch or so by shaving the board that covers the header. If anyone comes up with a number other than 79 inches with stock suspension and 35's please chime in. Thanks again.

HAHA...we were probably friends in a previous life. I can't begin to count how many facia boards have been timmed, cut or removed so I could get a rig to fit in the garage/carport.
