how do I get the torsion bar adjuster off torsion bar?

how do I get the torsion bar adjuster off torsion bar?
Im trying to remove the transfer case and transmission on my F-150 4x4 1997 4.6. I cant get the adjusters to move off the torsion bar. Any sugestions would be appreciated.

Spray with penetrating oil and use an air hammer is what has always worked for me.
