37" Humvee tires on stock 75 hiboy?

Absolutely! Confirmed fit, other than slight reduction in turning to the right.

Just picked up a set of 5 Humvee 37 x 12.50 x 16.5 tires for $350.00. The truck is a completely stock height 1975 Hiboy, but it does have a set of overloads in the rear (not as add a leaf in the spring stack, its on the top, so no lift gained). These tires are on aluminum 10" wheels, but if I was buying wheels for this I would say narrow is better. The Sidewall is so stiff the tire shop had to use 2 cheetah tanks at the same time just to get the bead set. I wasn't even able to get the bead set using starting fluid and an open flame.

One very minor issue is the steering control valve. The tire rubs, but I adjusted the steering limit to avoid contact. I would like to relocate the valve to gain some turning radius, if possible, so I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction if this has been covered elsewhere.

I just wanted to put it down somewhere in case anyone else decides to go with the same setup. And yes, it looks tough as hell.

Looks nice. Did you have any issues balancing them? Here is a couple shots of my Humvee tires and wheels.

Real nice actually. The first freeway trip is in 5 minutes, so I will get back with the rpm/speed changes.

I had no problem with the balancing act, but the les schwab guy was suggesting I use a liquid additive in the tire called "equalizer", at close to 30 each. I passed.

You have any issues with ther humvees on your truck?

I've had mine on for about 500 mi now and have to say I like them. They are better suited for an 8" wheel. 10's are a bit wide for these even though they are 12.50's. If you measure you might see you lost some height stretching them to fit wide wheels. So far I haven't balanced mine yet and can't even really tell...they are smooth. Overall for the price and the way they go I like them.
