i just looked up summit...82 bucks for springs and 19 bucks for shims...why doesnt everyone do it for that price? is it a hard job? any "special" tools needed...maybe that will be a good project for spring fling. any help or info would be greatly appreciated..

It would be a good idea to do them, they are pretty much like studs, insurance. You put them on to keep something from happening at a time when it is inconvenient or damaging other parts. Esp for that price.
And Jim, if I was you I would deff do studs too if you are planning on running the injectors we talked about.

Studs are for the higher hp builds when you're pushing over 30lbs of boost consistently. I don't think you need to go for those quite yet.

Don't underestimate Cory... he's Chuck Norris with a wrench. And I know it's been a while. As much as I'm looking forward to Spring Fling it can take its time getting here cause I need mod money before then.
