I'm Jim. I'm from Vanderbilt, PA. Right outside of Connellsville. I'm about 50 miles south of Pittsburgh. I own three Fords. Two F150s - a 1977 and a 1994, and an 1989 F250. They all have their ups and downs, but so does everything. I'm currently laid off from work, so I'm just a part time farmer right now. I run heavy equipment for the family construction business. We mainly do above and in ground swimming pools, so if any of you have a pool question, don't hesistate to ask. I've been doing swimming pools since I was 12. Haha. I'm an ex athlete (baseball, ice hockey in high school and soccer, basketball, baseball, and football in grade school and junior high). Now I just work, drink beer and play around with pickup trucks. I'm an easy guy to get a long with. I'm looking forward to making to one of the meet and greets so I can start putting faces with names.
It's nice to be here and thank you for welcoming me to the chapter.
Jim, good to meet you. I live in south central PA between Gettysburg & York but willing to travel. I am working with a couple of members out that way to help set up a get-together. So hopefully this can happen soon enough.
Don't forget to stop in the monthly general b/s thread. We hang there and shoot the breeze discussing everything from whats happened that day to food to whatever.
That sounds good, man. I'll make it to one of the ones out your way once I get back to work and get my truck finished. I would have went to the last one you had last month, but I'm laid off and broke and I wouldn't have trusted my truck to go clear out there. haha
Hey, Fayette, I'm from .. well reasonably close to your neck of the woods.. I live up in the frozen ( and now waterlogged) tundra of northern Clarion County.
I'd like to get an idea of just how many of us Ford nuts are on this side of the state and like Oldtrucknut said, get a GTG or something similar going, time permitting.

Altoona, haha. I used to be there just about every other day for my old job. If I'd come out to help you, you'd have a better shot at getting it done yourself than you would pulling me away from that big Sheetz right off of 99. I can't remember the exit, but I can remember the girls that hang out there.
Microchudd - I have a hunting cabin in Forest County. Between Sigel and Marienville. Blue Ridge Road off of 899.
Fayette I live down here in Confluence. If ya ever want to hook up for putting face'sto names let me now.I am about 30 to 35 minutes away from connelsville.
