I read in this morning's paper that Ford is raising the price on the new 150 by $2000. That's a pretty big hit.

The BASE price may be going up that much because the 4.6 V8 and automatic are becoming standard equipment. If you would have bought those items on a 2003, then the price is probably going to be the same. But Ford is not raising the price just to make more money, it's a reflection of more standard equipment.
