Arrow Old F100 Parts

Heys Guys,

I wanted to get your experience on ordering F100 parts from the states. Is there a better company for parts quality and shipping rates. Anyones input would be appreciatted. I am about to order a whole bunch of parts, but I am unsure of the best company to order from. I am currently leaning towards Midfifty.

I`ve used the Old Car Centre in BC, I like their competitive pricing plus free shipping.

Thanks guys,

Their prices don't seem too bad. I will have to take a close look at their catalog.

My computer crashed Thursday but I have a link to the Old Car Center The Old Car Centre - Street Rod, Vintage Ford and Chevy Parts - The Most Complete Source of Street Rod and Reproduction Parts in Canada and a spare catalogue for their 48/56 Ford trucks if you need it.

Thanks Morris,

I pulled their catalog off of their website. I will give them a call tomorrow. Looks like they must get their parts from Dennis Carpenter as they are all the same part numbers. I definately like the free shipping.

1956 Parts Wish List

Here is my current parts wish list. Some I will likely buy new, but if anyone has good used ones, let me know. All parts are for a 1956 F100

Rear view mirror
Hood hinge bolts-4
chrome grill- Likely buy new as I have a chrome one, but it is dinged and warped in a couple spots
Hood emblem
V8 grill emblem
chrome sunvisor brackets
domelight and lens
rear cab corners
front cab corners
all window/door/cowl seals

Any other parts I would be interested in as well.

Their prices seem pretty good. Its hit a miss whether it would be cheaper out of old car center or out of the states. I compared about 15 different parts that I am interested in between midfifty and oldcarcenter(OCC) and at least half of them I would order from OCC. Smaller chrome items such as grill/hood emblems/visor brackets/rear view mirror seem to be $10 - $20 more each at OCC, but after you ship and pay duty, it may not be much different from the US. Midfifty has a huge catalog and there is a couple of things that they have that I do not see in the OCC catalog. Such as a bundled package for all seals and antirattle kits and full front cab corners that come all the way up to the upper body seam. Perhaps OCC offers these, but do not show them in the catalog?

I forgot about George Moir, I liked his fast service plus he has a fairly good selection too.

Thanks Effie,

I probably will end up picking the stuff up new, but I thought I would send out a note anyways.

that kinda stuff for how much it is might as well get it new. Ill look up some of the stuff i bought and email you the prices if you pm me the address or post it here

you could also try Jitney auto parts here in town 668-3673 and tell Keith that I (chris parkinson) told you to call him for effie stuff. He might be able to get them cheaper than OCC as he deals withthe factories etc. Keith and his family are away on holidays so id wait a week or 2 before calling

theres also a guy up in blaine lake that would have some stuff but prepare to pay for it, and a guy near pike lake that might have some stuff too and a guy near borden that might as well (they both might be snowed in till spring)
