P1247 is turbo boost low, P1316 is Injector Circuit/IDM Codes Detected

With the P1316 and low power I assume it is running rough too. That would lead me to the UVCH is loose. You will need to pull the valve covers and make sure the connection is secured. The UVCH is prone to coming loose and cause a P1316 code as well as loss of power.

With the P1247, have you verified that your MAP sensor is hooked up properly and the hose is connected?

I bet you check engine light came on also.. the usual problem is the piece junk plastic connnector under your valve cover/s.. has come loose... easy fix with 2 quarters, called the 50 cent fix... all labor, no parts.. reuse your valve cover gaskets... see the folllowing for instructions:

Well I pulled the passenger side valve cover off and sure enough the uvch was loose just like you said it would be. But also I noticed a small metal keeper laying loose down in the bottom, started looking and right next to the uvch going back towards the cab I noticed a push rod end showing. Upon investigation the rocker arm? that goes back from the push rod to the valve spring lifted right out, I cant seem to find the push rod on the other side of that assembly. Could it be possible that the push rod got sucked back down inside the engine? Can I buy one of those assemblies because I found a couple of other pieces of stuff laying down in there? Or is this something I might want to take to a shop and have done?

Great news about the connector but not so good news on your push rod.. Someone will help with that here shortly, I am sure..But, mean while, why don't you start new thread .. for quicker and better response..

CHECK MY STEALERSHIP ENCOUTER PLEASE.

i had my 2002 f350 worked on at a ford dealer cause it started running rough. The engine light was on and the truck was surging. I drove it to the dealer and they said it needed a new PCM, a fuel injector wiring harness, and a glow plug control module.
It was hard to start when cold so I understand the glow plug control need replaced. As for the pcm, would my truck run with a bad one?
After $2,200.00 later on my reciept it said:

CUSTOMER STATES CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON
AND THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING ROUGH & LOW POWER. ADVISE $198.00
PCM. FUEL INJECTOR WIRE HARNESS, GLOW PLUG CONTROL MODULE
RUN DIESEL ENGINE DIAG. KOEO CODES P1277 P0380
RUN PINPOINT TEST REMOVE BOTH VALVE COVERS INSTALL
REVISED FUEL INJECTOR WIRE HARNESS KITS, FOR CODE P1277
RUN PINPOINT TEST FOR CODE P0380, REPLACE THE PCM AND
GLOW PLUG RELAY RETEST OK. ( CHARGED $1078.00 LABOR)

PARTS: MODULE ENGINE 690.00, CORE RETURN -100.00, CONTROL UNIT 76.80, WIRE ASSEMBLY 76.80, GASKET VALVE 86.64 (PARTS TOTAL $994.56)

DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT, DOES IT REALLY PAY 10 HOURS LABOR ($91.00 PER HOUR)
THINK IT MIGHT HAVE NEEDED CONTROL UNIT AND WIRE ASSEMBLY, BUT THE PCM?
