Posting this question in a new thread because it may be useful for other people. I am replacing my failed IDM with a Swamps Modded IDM and am considering relocating it to somewhere less prone to moisture. Has anyone successfully moved theirs, if so, where to and how?

Great thread. Think'n of doing the same, since i got the GEM module wet, from i guess, bad window seal. Saw where the IDM was located, and was not too stoked about it.

 

I'm interested in this also, since I'll be crossing rivers with my truck. Be nice to get it in out of the weather, somewhere up higher under the dash.
