Spark plug / oil change questions
My friend has a 99 F-250 with the V10 and I would like to know if anyone has instructions (special tools, weird tricks, torque specs for plugs and oil drain plug, drain plug gasket?) for spark plug and oil change. Mostly I am interested in the required torque specs for the plugs and the oil drain plug.
The engine is slightly misfiring and I'm going to take a look at the plugs tonight (hopefully they're all still in the engine ) and soon I plan on changing:
Plugs
Wires (if it has them)
Fuel filter
Air filter
PCV
Fuel injector cleaner
Thanks for any input that you can provide, if you have any other recommendations I would appreciate hearing them as well.

Spark plug / oil change questions
You know, I have heard and read a bunch of horror stories about the '99 v-10s blowing plugs, I think I even heard one guy say his chunked one through the hood. I guess I must be in the minority or something, because I have a little over 125,000 on my '99 F350 v-10, and I have not had one single problem with the plugs. I have changed them once, and am changing them again tomorrow. What is the story with the plug blowout thing? Is it just a sporadic problem, or is it occurring pretty much as a regular thing? I drive my truck pretty hard sometimes, and havent had any problems yet.
