Pinewood derby time.

Anyone do the Pinewood derby with there kids?

Don't forget to use dry graphite for the wheel lube.
You 2/all will have a ball!

they keep changing the rules. PITA imo.

Now you dont drill your own holes for the wheels.
And I think there was even an issue with using the graphite. *sigh*
I dont know now. I stopped helping my little addopted brother a few years go, somebody else helping him now.

Though, sounds really fun to build a PSD with stacks.

now, the question is, how can i get black smoke to come out the stacks while it goes down the track?

The nice thing is for the pack race is they have plenty of prizes, trophies, badges, and awards for all of the kids.

Good times. My brothers and I owned that trophy for years. Deburr and polish the wheels and axles, max out the weight, and you're golden.

We'll be going to districts next month. There be some competition there I bet. Last year was the first year we did this. My son won first for his pack this year. OK, there was only three in webelos 1. oh well still a win. About twenty-five cars so we had a blast in the frozen tundra. ha ha.

Mom packed up all the cars and trophies..Ill have to dig them out.
