Question How much weight can a 2001 E-150 haul

I have a 2001 E-150 7 pass 4.6 that I have added an eagle lift to. Just how much can I safely haul in this bad boy?

The lift weighs 350. Additionally I need to carry a hot air balloon that is 750 total. How much do I have left?

Hi Rob1eddy and welcome to FTE

If you click on the "SPECS" button at the right side of the page you will find specs on your van. Hopefully this will help answer your question.

the gvwr for the e150 is 7000 lbs. they weigh about 5500 as they sit. that gives you 1500. 1150 after the lift, 400 after the balloon. so basically you and a couple other people and a full tank of gas and you are maxed. keep your tires properly inflated and drive slow and carefully....
