Ford says 10K on the EB using 5W-30 oil. The heavier oil is needed for the turbos.

I haven't driven one yet. I have a test drive scheduled for the 3rd of March. I like the 5.0L truck very much. I am disappointed that the EB trucks only come with a 26 gallon fuel tank. I also fear the MPG claims may not be as ambitious as previously announced. We will see, then I will decide.

I have about 200 miles on my eco crew cab with 3;73 gears and I am very pleased with it so far average mpg city/hwy is 17-19mpg so I would say that is very good for big truck. I traded 2010 chevy silverado crew and it was nowhere near the truck the eco is in any way.

No,I didn't get it. Still looking! I'm now considering a 5.0 motor. I will get an XLT if I cant get the deal I want in a Lariat. The Lariat is the package I want, but they are pricey. My dealer currently has 0% & $2000 off,so I'm still looking. Also, trying to decide if I like the 18's or 20's in the chrome wheels.

There are usually more rebates around here on the XLTs, not sure if that's just Texas or what. Also, they sometimes have an additional rebate for TX/OK edition trucks but I'm not sure if there is anything extra currently.

Just drove to my dealer. They have a fully loaded Lariat 4x4 2011 for 48k MSRP. Windshield had 8k off. I also get the x-plan plus my trade. I might come out pretty good on this deal.

I have almost 500 miles on eco now. Just went 197 miles on northway @ 75mph on cruize and stop and go thru the toll boothe 4 times and got 18.9 -19.4 mpg. So far good, the power is hard to stay out of because its so easy to gain speed.

My eco is super crew with 3:73 gears and max tow, convenience, xlt plus.Color is blue with silver strip on bottom. I just bought bakflip g2 tonneau cover and hope to get it this week. They say 1-2 miles per gallon we'll see. It will be nice just to have dry stuff in box.

4x2? Thanks, good to see real world numbers for sure. Do you have any idea what you're getting city or mixed?

Suppose to order ours tomorrow or Tuesday but plan to go with 3.55 gears. Doubt it will make much difference...

Lee
